Well, we are talking about the young singing sensation Soumya Chakraborty.
Yes readers, he has become the champion of the champions in the popular musical show “SaReGaMaPa – Sangeet er Shera Mancha”.
The final round to be showcased tonight will witness Soumya being announced as the winner of this season.
As reported by Tellychakkar.com earlier that two participants from each group will be selected for second round, where a champion in each category will be selected. And finally, one “champion of the champions” will be chosen amongst the 3 champions.
So, the three champions to be selected would be Dipan in classical genre, Durnibar in light genre and Soumya and Tulika Gangadhar in folk genre. And amongst all, Soumya would turn out to be the winner while the trophy of the runners up would go to Durnibar Saha.
Now coming to the man of the moment, Soumya hails from Bankura district, West Bengal. The young talent is the relative of Gopeswar Bandyopadhyay, who was notable for Bishnupur Gharana, which is a form of singing that follows the Dhrupad tradition of Hindustani music.
Coming from a modest background, the man despite tough competitors in the final round managed to make a permanent position in the hearts of judges Shantonu Moitra, Shubha Mudgal, Palash Sen and Koushiki Chakraborty.
As we have seen, he not only can sing superb but also can mesmerise the viewers with his smiles and dance on the stage. All his qualities make him a good performer performer. His talents and free spirited nature will surely make him go a long way.
