MUMBAI : Jitendra Bohara is a television actor who is known for Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar meiin and Ashoka.

He is currently essaying the role of Akash Rana, Atharva’s elder brother, in Star Plus’ Imlie post leap. He is playing a grey shade character and the audience is loving it.

Tvbooks recently got in touch with the actor and got to know interesting insights about the show and his character.

What are your thoughts about the current track with Chini staying at the Rana house and creating so much of ruckus?

“The track is going really well. We are currently getting to see how Imlie is trying to adjust in the Rana family post marriage and how a daughter-in-law tries to win everyone’s heart. It is really nice how she is trying to tackle all the situations and we, as actors, are loving the track.”

How do you feel about playing a grey shade character?

“My character Akash in this show is in contrast to what I was playing earlier in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. That character was quite positive and energetic. On the other hand, my current character is negative. It is going really well and I am getting to do different things. When you are playing a positive character, you do not get to explore much. But when you play a negative character, the sky’s the limit. I am loving every bit of it.”

How will Akash and Keya further plan their move to get ahead in their game of attaining everything?

“Recently, I have noticed that even though we have joined hands with Chini but I am pretty much annoyed with the things she has done. I am feeling that even if she is our alliance, she should not end up becoming a danger for us. Now I don’t know how the makers will take this forward but I think something different will take place. A twist can also happen when I do something to get ahead in my plan.”
