#EarthDay: Celebs call for immediate action to save our planet
It seems that with our environment at stake not only us but Google is also concerned about mother Earth with introducing a special doodle feature on this earth day. Earth Day 2015 includes a cleanup of the Great Wall of China, beach-litter removal in Lebanon and an attempt to protect 25,000 acres of rain forest in Indonesia.
After learning about such noble cause even our television celebs shared their thoughts about the serious issues related to environment.

I think with improved technology we are forgetting small things which is much more environmental friendly. Just for example instead of using electrical goods we can also use earthen pots to cool water or something similar to that. And one strict measure that should be taken up immediately is garbage dumping.

Unless and until we realize our responsibilities I think it’s useless to shout out about the cause. Be it global warming, be it noise pollution or other issue, we should do whatever is within our limits. Just the way we take care of our home, we should take care of our earth for the future generations.

My thoughts on Earth Day unfortunately starts with disappointment as, we have forgotten that just like mother earth even we are composed with five basic elements and destroying those elements will destroy human kind only in the long run. On this Earth Day I would plead to everyone to plant at least one tree for the safety of mother earth.

I am always up for this cause. And I believe that small efforts from our side can actually make a big difference. Using solar energy can be an option and I think if we check ourselves then very easily we can control noise and water pollution.

The only way to keep our environment clean and do something for mother earth is just to become more aware. We always tend to complain about the government but, sadly enough we don’t check our own actions like not wasting water and electricity. And without hurting any religious sentiments I would like to request everyone to have a thought on idol immersion, which actually creating harm to our environment.

Issues like global warming is a serious threat nowadays and we should immediately take care about the matter. When I read about the issue in the newspaper in morning the first thing I did was to plant a tree at my place. I try to plant more tress in my colony and try to take care of them. All these small initiatives on our part can actually make a difference.

At such situation what is most important is to protect natural resources. Instead of cutting down trees we should concentrate more on planting them. If natural resources are not protected now then our own existence will be at stake.
